Welcome to VodBurner, the product that allows you to easily record Skype video calls on a Windows PC, then edit to a final ASF or WMV file ready for sharing via YouTube, email, DVD or however you choose. VODBurner can export your video or save to YouTube in a range of resolutions, including widescreen / 16:9. If the original recording was 4:3, this will be letterboxed in segments that only show one side.
The following keyboard shortcuts can be used to control VODBurner’s Post-Production Console:
To add a transition in your edited video, use ALT+A.
To move the cursor in the timeline, use the left and right arrows.
To control the “Other Side/This Side/Both Sides/Skip” options, use the TAB key to move the focus to the drop-down box, and then use the up and down arrows to change the selection.
By default, VodBurner creates VBC (VodBurner Crude) files. These can contain uncompressed or compressed video. Uncompressed video can take a large amount of disk space, but places low load on the computer’s CPU, and therefore has little to no impact on call quality. Compressed video takes less space, but quality may be affected.
VodBurner offers two types of compression:
Medium disk space; Very good quality.
Minimum disk space; Good quality.
