TextMap is our transcript summary tool, and was designed to work with CaseMap, our case analysis application. TextMap 5.5 works even better with CaseMap than our earlier versions but it also works independently of CaseMap. TextMap 5.5 gives you easy, flexible ways to link transcripts from case depositions, examinations, and other proceedings to case exhibits and other documents and the ability to play deposition video synched with text.

Here are the some of the new features in TextMap 5.5:

Export Video Clips
Imagine taking key testimony from a deposition and instantly transferring the video clip, page/line reference and the text of a clip onto a PowerPoint slide with two mouse clicks! You have the option of saving video clips to free-standing WMV files for use in trial presentation software, too.

CaseViewNet™ Realtime
TextMap 5.5 makes it effortless and quick to enable realtime viewing on your computer. During the TextMap installation wizard TextMap optionally includes a free copy of CaseViewNet™, a transcript viewer made by Stenograph, LLC.--for over 70 years, the leading supplier of productivity tools for the court reporting profession.

CaseViewNet Client software for legal professionals is free. There are no tokens to purchase, no royalties to pay and no compliance issues to worry about.

CaseViewNet and TextMap integrate so that you can instantly import a transcript into TextMap during a deposition and start annotating and issue linking.

Add Case Staff
Want to password-protect access to a TextMap transcript case file? TextMap 5.5 gives you the option to set up individual staff members. Once you set up a case staff a case log-in dialog box appears when accessing the file.

New Case Wizard
Setting up a new TextMap case file is amazingly simple with a new wizard that walks you through the process step-by-step. Clearly written instructions on every page of the wizard mean you'll have your new case saved and ready for importing transcripts in no time!
